Description
The pitbull was first considered as a liner to satisfy a need that more advanced tattooers were developing. A need arose for a versatile liner, capable of moving medium to large needle configurations relatively quickly and with a minimum amount of irritation to the clients’ skin. It is based on the bulldog frame, but has many subtle differences; it has a longer, lighter armature bar, shorter coils on a yoke, different geometry at the front of the machine, and most importantly, the ability to be configured as 3 very different outliners-all from one frame. This flexibility makes it possible to build the pitbull to do just about anything: single needle to fourteen, long stroke or short, this is truly a custom tattoo machine and is meant for those who insist on the best. To this day, the pitbull is one of the most popular liner machines used by those “in the know”. Find out why my version of the working tattooers’ outliner has defined a genre, and is THE benchmark for the middle-weight class of outliners used todayNo tool inspires confidence in tattooing, moreso than the PITBULL has for tattooers around the world throughout the last several decades. While many have attempted to alter the geometry of this classic design, its perfection has been proven through years of practical application, and its performance is second to none. While nostalgia has many of us returning to the look and feel of that original cast frame in ductile iron, there comes a time when a professional needs to consider the benefits of modern material and improved application, and respectfully make room in his tool chest for the next incarnation. Tattooers of the world, I present to you now, for your consideration, the PRE-FAB PITBULL, by ADAM CIFERRI Machined from 1020 steel with the precision usually reserved for parts on the NASA space shuttles, this machine is spot welded in two places to reinforce strength, and it feels so solid you won't believe its not a single piece. When you hold it in your hand, you will feel that same familiar comfort your cast Bulldog has always given you, yet somehow sleeker and just a touch lighter. i have found the tone and performance quite reminiscent of the first cast run that i did in '96, and true to its namesake, . Most know, some tattoos just require a tool that can quickly, and deftly cover large areas-all while making it *look* easy. The frame itself is finished in black oxide, by a local firm that does some oxide work for a couple bad-ass gunsmiths. This run of black oxide on these frames has to be the best i've ever seen: durable, BLACK, consistent... Of course you will find my signature quarter on the rear, harnessing wealth and fortune as you clip in to this, most certainly, lucky machine.
